Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions outline the agreements for clients engaging with Dee the EP (ABN 15 730 774 052). By booking and attending sessions, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to the following:

Personal Information & Communication

  • I understand I am required to provide accurate personal details, including relevant medical history, to allow Dee the EP to assess my needs and provide safe, effective exercise prescription.

  • I grant permission for Dee the EP to contact me via SMS, phone, email, or secure messaging for appointment reminders, follow-ups, and billing purposes.

  • I consent to Dee the EP communicating with my GP, specialist, or other allied health professionals (where appropriate) to ensure a multidisciplinary approach to my care.

  • I acknowledge that I may withdraw or limit this consent at any time, except where legal obligations must be met.

Privacy & Confidentiality

  • Dee the EP respects your right to privacy and is committed to protecting personal information.

  • Client records are securely stored in line with Australian privacy laws and professional standards.

  • Information will only be disclosed with your consent, except where required by law, or if there is a serious and/or immediate risk to your health, safety, or that of the public.

Exercise Treatment & Risks

  • Participating in exercise physiology and Pilates may provide benefits including, but not limited to: improved cardiovascular fitness, strength, bone density, mobility, body composition, and quality of life.

  • I acknowledge that all forms of exercise carry inherent risks, which may include fatigue, muscle soreness, dizziness, nausea, joint or soft tissue strain, and, in rare cases, more serious events such as cardiac complications or injury.

  • I understand exercise will only be prescribed within my assessed capabilities and in my best interests.

  • I agree to inform Dee the EP of any changes in my medical condition, medication, or symptoms before and during treatment.

  • If I have any concerns about prescribed treatment, I will raise them with my practitioner.

Telehealth Services

  • Telehealth sessions are delivered online via secure video consultation.

  • By connecting to a telehealth consultation, I consent to the session being delivered remotely.

Cancellation Policy

  • Dee the EP values your time and endeavours to run on schedule. Please respect this by arriving on time for your session.

  • Cancellations made with more than 48 hours’ notice will not incur a fee.

  • Cancellations within 48 hours may be charged at 50% of the full session fee.

  • Cancellations within 24 hours, or failure to attend (“no-show”), may be charged at 100% of the full session fee.

  • For clients funded by NDIS or Home Care Packages, cancellation terms will align with your provider agreement or NDIS guidelines.

Payment Policy

  • Payment is required at the time of booking or at the appointment, depending on service type.

  • Private health insurance rebates (where applicable) can be claimed after payment.

  • Any cancellation or no-show fees will be charged to the payment method provided at booking.

Assumption of Risk & Release of Liability

  • I acknowledge that participation in any exercise program, whether in person or via telehealth, involves inherent risks.

  • I voluntarily accept full responsibility for any injuries, health events, or damages that may arise from participation, except where liability cannot be excluded under Australian law.

  • I confirm I have disclosed all relevant health conditions and have been advised to seek medical clearance if necessary before commencing exercise.

Consent

By booking and/or attending a session with Dee the EP (ABN 15 730 774 052), I confirm that:

  • I have read and understood the above Terms & Conditions.

  • I consent to participate in services provided by Dee the EP.

  • I accept responsibility for my participation and agree to these conditions.
