SERVICES
Offering 1:1 Exercise Physiology and Pilates in-person
or online, at two premium Brisbane locations:
Function Well (Newstead) & Move Pilates (Ascot)
While my core approach stays the same - highly individualised, evidence based movement support, each location offers unique facilities, equipment and service options so I can tailor your experience.
How It Works
A tailored approach to movement, built around you.
While every exercise journey is unique, the gold standard for creating lasting change tends to follow a similar path. This method outlines how we’ll move from assessment to action with clarity, purpose, and a plan that evolves with you.
-
A complimentary 15-minute phone call to discuss your goals, current challenges, and the type of support you’re looking for. This is a no-obligation opportunity to ask questions, understand my approach, and see if we’re a good fit before booking an initial Movement Assessment.
-
Begin with a comprehensive assessment where we’ll explore your health history, lifestyle, and goals. Using evidence-based movement testing, I’ll create your personalised Movement Assessment Plan (MAP) to establish a clear starting point.
-
You’ll receive a Movement Assessment Plan (MAP) — a personalised PDF report delivered 3 days later, summarising your results, what they mean, and a clear plan forward with movement recommendations.
If you wish to move forward with personalised programming and coaching, this can be designed and ready by our first session together. Delivered on a user friendly app with instructional videos including cues, sets, reps - expert coaching on demand.
-
Build momentum and stay on track with regular 1:1 sessions (Exercise Physiology, Pilates, or Telehealth) or flexible app-based programming. Think of these as “Movement Mastery” sessions where we focus on:
Learning correct technique with live feedback
Finding the right intensity for your body and goals
Education on modifications and safe progressions
Accountability and consistency
Support in setting and achieving new goals
Rebuilding routine when life gets busy
Navigating setbacks or changes with confidence
Together, we’ll keep refining your plan so it grows with you and supports lasting results.

FAQs

Accredited Exercise Physiologists (AEPs) are university-qualified allied health professionals that specialise in prescribing and delivering exercise for people across all stages of life. From those managing chronic disease, injury, or illness to anyone wanting to improve their health, wellbeing, and performance. Recognised by Medicare, private health insurers, DVA, NDIS, and WorkCover, AEPs bring extensive knowledge in clinical exercise delivery, lifestyle modification, and health education to support long-term results.
-
Your initial assessment includes a detailed discussion of your current health, relevant medical history, lifestyle and goals plus, evidence-based (strength, mobility, aerobic capacity, balance) movement testing to establish your current baseline . You’ll receive your personalised Movement Assessment Plan (MAP) Report within 3 days of your initial appointment and a clear starting point for your exercise prescription.
-
Yes. If you have a valid GP referral under a Medicare Chronic Disease Management (CDM) or Enhanced Primary Care (EPC) plan, you may be eligible for up to 5 sessions per calendar year, with around $60 rebated per session. If you’re managing a chronic health condition, chat with your GP to see if you’re eligible for this plan.
I am also registered with all major health funds. Most private health funds offer rebates for Exercise Physiology services. Please check with your individual provider to confirm your eligibility. You’ll receive an invoice after your session to claim directly through your fund.

It really depends on your goals, condition or injury, your current baseline. As a guide, the gold standard for effective results, especially in injury rehab, is weekly to fortnightly sessions for 6–12 weeks - followed by a reassessment. After that, many people space out reviews as needed.
Some clients continue longer for accountability or when managing more complex conditions, while others transition to self-managing sooner with the occasional check-in.
That’s why I offer a mix of options: 1:1 in-person, virtual sessions, and flexible app-based programming, so your support can evolve with you, short and long term.
I also understand cost and time is a big factor in frequency. My role is to recommend the most effective plan for your situation, then work with you to fit it into your lifestyle, budget, and schedule. Ultimately, it’s your choice, but I’ll always aim to give you maximum value in each session, along with the tools you need to confidently self-manage long term.

I get it, life happens — sickness, last minute work meetings or days that just don’t go to plan. All I ask is that you give me at least 24 hours’ notice if you need to cancel or reschedule.
Less than 48 hours’ notice may mean a 50% fee.
Less than 24 hours’ notice or no-shows may mean the full fee (ouch, I know).
As a small business, every appointment counts — and a late cancellation means someone else misses out on a spot they may have really needed. The sooner you let me know, the more likely I can shuffle things around and fit both of you in.
You can cancel through the online booking system, text, or give me a call on 0433 380 287 (just please, no DMs on socials).
And if you do miss an appointment, I’ll always check in — partly to rebook, mostly to make sure you’re okay!
-
No — non-members are welcome. There is a casual entry fee of $25 (payable on arrival) at Function Well for non-members, and at Move Pilates, sessions are held in a private clinic space with no additional charge to the consultation fee.
