Hi, I’m Dee — an Accredited Exercise Physiologist, Pilates instructor, and busy mama who’s just launched her own business! After years of working in the health and fitness space, I decided it was time to step into something of my own, and this blog “The DeeBrief”, is where I’ll be sharing more of the journey.
So, what can you expect here? Think of it as my digital diary, a place where I’ll unpack health and wellness topics, share movement tips you can actually use, and sprinkle in some of my current obsessions (books I can’t put down, podcasts in my ears, activewear obsessions, recipes I’m loving and life hacks that make the juggle a little easier). You’ll also get a behind-the-scenes look at what it’s like building a business and the lessons I’m learning along the way.
Some weeks it might be a quick win you can try straight away; other times, it’ll be a deeper dive into something I think more of us should know about our bodies and our health.
At the heart of it all is movement. Whether you’re coming back from an injury, juggling exercise with parent life, or just trying to feel stronger and more confident, my job as an EP is to guide you. I’ll break down the science into simple, practical advice, so you feel empowered to look after your health without it feeling overwhelming.
My hope is that when you land on these posts, it feels like you’re sitting down with a friend who gets it, someone who can give you a laugh, a gentle nudge in the right direction, and a reminder that small, consistent actions add up to big change.
